On 8 October, 2020, during the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Latvian Academy of Sciences, the winners of the Latvian Academy of Sciences awards were congratulated, among whom was the leading researcher of the Latvian State Institute of Wood Sciences Dr. chem. Ingeborga Andersone, who received:

Arvīds Kalniņš award in Forest Science, Wood Research and Processing for the set of works "Wood durability solutions: protection products and methods".
