Within the framework of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) applied research projects, the scientists of the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry have created a number of inventions, which are offered for companies to be used for their products’ and services’ development and to improve competitiveness. Currently, it is offered to purchase / commercialize 5 licenses for the use of scientific developments.
Commercialization objects:
Nanostructured activated carbons for supercondenser electrodes [2] [3]
Polyol component for the manufacture of rigid polyurethane foams [4]
Manufacturing recipe for pressed paper [5]
Plywood with improved durability properties [6]
Scheme of the technological process aimed at increasing the energy value of wood pellets [7] [8]
