Within the framework of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) applied research projects, the scientists of the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry have created a number of inventions, which are offered for companies to be used for their products’ and services’ development and to improve competitiveness. Currently, it is offered to purchase / commercialize 5 licenses for the use of scientific developments.
Commercialization objects:
Nanostructured activated carbons for supercondenser electrodes
Polyol component for the manufacture of rigid polyurethane foams
Manufacturing recipe for pressed paper
Plywood with improved durability properties
Scheme of the technological process aimed at increasing the energy value of wood pellets
